What you're signing up for

One place to find, price and check student housing.

Today, comparing apartments near campus means opening a dozen landlord sites and doing the fee math yourself. True Rent puts every building side by side, priced the same way.

The real monthly cost

Every price includes the mandatory fees buildings leave out of the headline: trash, tech packages, amenity fees, required insurance. Where we can't confirm a fee, we say so instead of guessing.

Verified subleases

Take over a lease, or hand yours off, with students who have shown they're really on the lease. Everyone signs in with a wisc.edu address.

Roommate matching

Match on how you actually live (sleep schedule, tidiness, guests, budget) and chat privately on True Rent. Your phone number and email stay yours.

Lease check

Upload a lease before you sign and see where it differs from the listing you applied from: a higher rent, a new fee, a clause nobody mentioned.
